The tech chicks are a very interesting podcast series. They have great content and loads of links and programs. They also seem legitimate and knowledgeable. This episode had a load of great links. There was one site that was an interesting idea that is called thinkquest.com that allows groups of students to compete in a website competition. It seems like a great way to get students involved in group activities.

This episode was loaded with a ton of content. The main focus of note in this episode has to deal with copyright laws and how they pertain to the internet. This is important for teachers because society is making access to copyrighted material very easy. It is important for teachers to be aware of the dangers and what they and their students can do to prevent them from getting in trouble with copyrighted material.

This episode talked about a program called TubeSock. It is a program that works with YouTube to create a usable file format for your iPod. This program would be particularly useful if you find a video on YouTube that you want to share with others and now you can just keep it on your iPod. It seems easy to use and one that should be kept any persons technology war chest for potential future use.
